At six years old, talking with my dad after he came back fro the hospital, I learned the full meaning of that question. My mom had died of leukemia at age 36 after a two-year battle. Every day since then, I have done my best to live my life so that I’m happy with the answer. I truly understand how we all must strive to make every day count.
Despite all the publicity I get and my large online business, people are usually surprised to discover how simple I am. It comes from my dad, who struggled so hard to raise me after my mom passed, and who also passed in 2004, who said shared these words with me, “There area lot of stars up in the sky, all you have to do is reach up and grab one.”
The praise for my hypnosis audios and programs is appreciated, and I’m working harder to continue to improve myself and my programs every day. I suppose it’s how I was raised and what I stand for. This has never been about me. It’s been about you. I live to to inspire others to find their own dreams, and to reach them.
Dr. Steve is best known in the field of hypnotherapy for creating the world’s largest collection of self-help programs. He consistently ranks #1 in the world for the most audios sold, making him the most widely-listened to hypnotherapist in the world for over a decade now.
Dr. Steve’s other programs include dozens of audio and video programs include NLP certification, Life-coaching Certification, Millionaire Mastery Program Yourself for Wealth. His programs have been mentioned on CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, and in Forbes and People magazine.
Since Steve had an office in Beverly Hills for several years, he still returns to Los Angeles regularly to work with famous Hollywood actors to help them achieve their very best.
“Many people say, ‘This guy is a natural at hypnosis.’ Perhaps. The real story is that I’ve woken up every day since 2004, when my dad passed, with a powerful and heart-felt desire to help as many people as possible find their star. If you start each day with focus and determination, you can get anything done. I’ve studied psychology at Harvard and the University of Florida. I’ve studied adult learning at Armstrong Atlantic State University and Georgia Southern University. I’ve read several books a week throughout my adult life, I’ve met new personal goals every month, been interviewed about hypnosis hundreds of times, given many talks, and had world-class trainers and patients.
The part you don’t get to hear much is that I’m just like you. I have difficult days. Perhaps my mistakes are more obvious than yours, but they are still human mistakes: I’ve wiped out on a surfboard on national TV on the Millionaire Matchmaker, I’ve spilled coffee on my pants right before a book interview on CBS, been turned down for my own TV show because the executives said their viewers wanted to watch shows about ice (yes, ice- I still haven’t figured out that one).made “mistakes” and more “mistakes” and happily made more “mistakes” along the way to reaching my star. The path to success is paved with many lessons (which most people call mistakes).
The only story that really matters to me is the tens of thousands of fans and students out there living a more fulfilling life. My story or statistics mean little. My patients and students are the goal. They are the success stories I like to hear.
If all I have done is inspire people to reach for and grab their star – simply because I have shown them the beauty and power they already have inside – then my day is perfect, life is wonderful, and I feel honored.”
