How it works

How the scripts are meant to be used:

Read, don't memoriseEach script is written to be read aloud to a client whose eyes are closed — read it through once before the session.
Adapt itChapter 1 explains what to cut or change for a particular client, and the one rule: never insert anything that could cause harm.
Where it goesThe script is the middle of the session — after the induction and deepening, before amnesia and trance termination — so each one begins with the client already relaxed.

Fear of Flying

Now as you continue to relax more and more, I want you to picture yourself at home, getting ready to go to the airport. The relaxation that you are feeling now will remain with you. Just picture yourself here at home, feeling very relaxed as you begin to pack and make all the other preparations for your trip. And as you do, just notice how relaxed you are and how calm you have become.

Now you are taking your luggage outside and now you are getting into the vehicle, ready to go to the airport and still feeling perfectly calm. All the details of the trip have been taken care of up to this point and you can just relax and enjoy the drive. Now you are pulling up to the airport and getting out of the vehicle. Now, still deeply relaxed you are going through the security check on the way to the gate. You remain deeply relaxed.

The script walks the client through boarding, the flight and landing, then continues for another two pages.
